Holding Patterns is a London-based surface pattern studio and shop run by Elsa Chiao, a graphic designer and art director.

Passionate about colours, form, and function as patterns and textures in everyday life, Elsa creates her designs for textiles and paper with sustainability and quality in mind. More catharsis than perfectionism, these designs are meant to be worn, used, and held.
